About
Our mission is to provide accessible, easily digestible public interest journalism centring survivors of violence, abuse and conversion practices and educating the general public. Through increasing access to vital news and information, policy review and signposting, we aim to advance the prevention of violence against women, girls, transgender people, nonbinary people, intersex people and the LGBTQI+ community.
We aim to break down the barriers to sharing vital stories with a survivor-led editorial policy guided by lived experience that platforms unheard voices without compromising accuracy or ethics. A trauma-informed, approachable process for contributors and informative content puts outlier storytelling at the heart of the media, where it should be.
